Emma Watson is already putting the Harry Potter series behind her by starring in the upcoming film The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and apparently getting cozy with co-star Johnny Simmons. One thing I love about celebrity couples is that most of the time it's so predictable. Put two beautiful people on a movie set together, have them hang out all the time and take part in sex and nude scenes and of course they're going to fall for each other. Despite popular belief, Hollywood celebs are human. So we really shouldn't be surprised that a budding romance has started between Watson and Simmons. That's Hollywood for ya!

On Tuesday, the alleged couple stepped out to share a meal together in Santa Monica and were spotted sharing a kiss before heading inside the restaurant. The two were photographed hiking together earlier this summer as well, although the young actress has previously denied rumors that she and Simmons are romantically involved. It's alright Emma, we don't need you to confirm anything. Looks like your lips were doing the talking for you! We'll just have to wait and see if this flame fizzles out once the film wraps. Johnny Simmons recently popped up on our radar when rumors surfaced that he’s dating his Perks of Being a Wallflower castmate Emma Watson. The two have denied their union, but we still have our suspicious that romance is blooming (like a flower… on the wall. Get it?). Anyway, here are five things to know about the 24-year-old actor:

1. He’s a good ‘ole Southern boy. Johnny was born in Montgomery, Alabama and raised in Dallas, Texas.

2. His first major role was the character Dylan Baxter in Evan Almighty, where he starred opposite Steve Carell and Lauren Graham. Not a bad first gig, we suppose.

3. Since then, he’s appeared in flicks like Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Jennifer’s Body. We distinctly remember having a crush on his character in JB, the cute, nerdy boyfriend of Amanda Seyfried‘s character.

5. He was offered his Scott Pilgrim role via Facebook message form director Edgar Wright. Here’s how it went down:

“Uh huh. I read it about a year and a half ago, or two years or so. I was just leaving to New York to go film a movie called The Greatest, and I go on in at the last minute, and it’s like there’s no way in hell that I’m going to get this, like, I’ll just—but I just went in on a whim, and like a year and a half later, or maybe just like a year, Edgar—somebody was saying they were Edgar Wright], you know, on Facebook, and I was like yeah, whatever. And we had been waiting for feedback, you know, nothing had come of this. And for a while it was on hold or something. And I was focused on The Greatest and Jennifer’s Body, and then I kept asking about this film in particular. And uh, he friend requested me and I was like yeah, it’s Edgar, but it’s probably not. And we started, uh, messaging back and forth through the inbox and he sent me, like a month had gone by when we were just talking, and he said, I said well, you’re in LA, if you want to meet up for coffee or whatever. And he was also friends with Jason Reitman, who doesn’t have his real name set up, so I figured it could have been the real Edgar. He said yeah, let’s meet up for coffee. I’d also like to offer you the role of Young Neil.”

Rumors suggesting Emma Watson is dating Johnny Simmons might be true after all. When going out for a lunch in Los Angeles recently, the Hermione Granger of the "Harry Potter" series was spotted sharing a playful kiss with her co-star in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower". 

According to Us Weekly, the rumored couple "looked very loved up" when Johnny dropped Emma off at the restaurant in Santa Monica on Thursday (August 4) afternoon. An eyewitness said that before they parted, the pair held and hugged each other for a while and playfully kissed. The observer added, "[They] seemed very open and not trying to hide their affection." 

Emma and Johnny have been linked romantically together for quite a while now. The twosome were photographed hiking together in May, and were reportedly very flirtatious with each other at an afterparty for MTV Movie Awards in June. Inside source previously gushed that Emma "loves how down to earth and normal he is and thinks he's the nicest guy." 

Romance rumor aside, Emma has earlier said that it is hard for her to find a boyfriend. She told Sunday Times Style Magazine, "I'd say to my friends, 'Why hasn't X called me? Why doesn't anyone ever pursue me?' They're like, 'Probably because they're intimidated.' It must be the fame wall. It must be the circus that goes around me. Me, as a person, I find it hard to believe I would be intimidating." 

Taylor Swift's 'Sparks Fly' Music Video Lights Up the Night

Taylor Swift has premiered a music video filmed to support her latest single "Sparks Fly". The country music cutie gives her devotees a "Speak Now" tour experience in the clip by compiling footage from her ongoing traveling show across the United States.


The thrills are shared in a number of elaborate sets involving floating balconies, glittery costume changes and acrobatic routines by aerialists. Still, all eyes are on Swift who is strutting her stuff, wiping her blonde hair and twirling around the stage in high spirit.


Cameras, cell phones and glow sticks flash among the screaming crowd, but it was the firework set off around the venue that lights up the night. The performances previewed in the clip include "Speak Now", "Back to December" and "Mean".


Taylor Swift will stay on the road until November 22. After performing on August 10 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, she will resume the tour on August 13 at Scottrade Center in St. Louis. Beside singing her own songs, she also covers other artists' popular tracks like Eminem's "Lose Yourself". Most recently, she did a rendition of Fall Out Boy's "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" in one of the tour stops.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Not Back Together Despite Long Island Reunion

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are not calling off their divorce. The estranged couple sparked report of a possible reconciliation after TMZ brought out a photo of the two sharing the backseat of a red Mustang convertible in Long Island. Representative for both stars, however, was quick to deny. 


Reacting to the photo taken near Sagg Main Beach in Southampton, New York on Wednesday, August 10, Marc's rep told the gossip site the Latin crooner was on the East Coast visiting his children. J.Lo's rep, in the meantime, came out with a stronger statement, "They are NOT back together - they were just visiting each other and the children." 


Another related report suggested that Marc is desperate to win J.Lo back. "His mood shifts from blaming her to begging her to take him back to telling her she is destroying his life," an insider told Us Weekly. It was further noted that Marc was also "being difficult on every little point" of their impending divorce, because he "wants to prolong things so she reconsiders." 


Marc and J.Lo revealed their decision to end their seven years of marriage in mid-July. In a joint statement, the parents of twins Emme and Max said, "This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time." 

Tornado, Hospital and Bank Vault Scenes in 'Man of Steel' Teased

Production for Zack Snyder-directed "Man of Steel" has been set in motion. An on-set footage recently hit the web, giving a sneak peek at a tornado scene which was recently filmed at the Sugar Grove area near Plano, Illinois.


Some huge fans were seen being set on the side of the road supposedly to give a tornado effect. According to narration provided by the person who secretly took the video from behind the bushes, Kevin Costner who plays Jonathan Kent is involved in the filming. Instead of running away, he is seen walking in the direction of the storm.


Words are, next on Snyder's schedule after the tornado scene is the filming of some big action scenes in Valley West Community Hospital. A source told ComicBookMovie that they will have windows in the building blacked out, but would stage no real major explosions.


"Nothing will be big there because they can't actually blow up the hospital. So they're just going to be using some controlled and smaller pyro's and then digitally altering it to make it look like a big explosion took place," the insider dished on.


The source furthermore talked about the bank vault which is featured in the background of the first official still. "Oh, it's real. The bank is real. It is being wired with explosives, too and will feature a massive military rumble involving Zod and Faora. The direction of that scene will be done from more of a distance because of explosives, just like the 7-Eleven," it was revealed.


Talking about the Superman, the source said, "[He] learns of certain powers that he has where a glass starts shaking and then breaks. Snyder was very specific and provided a lot of detail about how this was to be done. It will all be controlled with pyrotechnics with certain holes drilled at certain depths and multiple blasts to make the total effect."


Starring Henry Cavill as Clark/Superman and Amy Adams as Lois Lane, the film which is directed by Zack Snyder will hit theaters in 2013. It promises to ramp up the action of its esteemed predecessor "Superman Returns", and to raise the stakes and take the audience to heights of action that no other superhero movie can achieve.

Evanescence Say They Have Perfect Song for 'Breaking Dawn Part I'

Having already won Grammys, toured around the globe and sold million copies of their albums, Evanescence are now eying to get hired by Summit Entertainment to write a song for "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I". In fact, they already have one perfect song for the movie. 


"I've been screaming for [new song] 'My Heart Is Broken' to land in that, because I think it would fit the story so well. I got sucked into the 'Twilight' vortex by the girls at home, so by default, I've got to watch it," drummer Will Hunt said during an interview with MTV recently. Amy Lee added, "I think that would be awesome." 


In the past, Amy actually had tried to write song for the Robert Pattinson-starring film. Recalling how she joined the Twihards, she stated, "I didn't watch the first movie - I was like, 'Yeah, whatever. I got over vampires in high school' - then they were like, 'Maybe you should write a song for the movie,' so I read the book and I wrote some songs." 


"It didn't work out because they have all these cool hipster people that are doing the 'Twilight' stuff," Amy revealed how the project ended. Nonetheless, it didn't stop the frontwoman from continuing to read the Stephenie Meyer book series. "I was kind of into it," she reasoned. "So I read the next books." 


Evanescence recently released a brand new song called "What You Want" to mark their comeback from hiatus. The "Going Under" hitmakers, who once landed their song "Bring Me to Life" in 2003's "Daredevil, The Movie", have filmed a music video for the single and are expected to premiere it sometime soon. 

'Harry Potter' Director and Scribe Close to Reunite for 'The Stand'

Warner Bros. Pictures are done with "Harry Potter" film franchise, but are yet to let go some masterminds behind it. According to HitFix, the studio are finalizing the deals for David Yates and Steve Kloves, who have collaborated on the last three "Harry Potter" movies, to work together again for "The Stand". 


Yates, who directed the final four "Harry Potter" film installments, is reportedly projected to step behind the camera. As for Kloves who penned all "Harry Potter" movies except "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", he will likely provide the script. 


"The Stand" is said to be made into multi movies. Adapted from Stephen King's novel of the same title, it is set in a time after a virus wipes out most of the American population. This story of good vs. evil will focus on a group of survivors fighting the Antichrist-like Randall Flagg while it features dozens of characters and overlapping storylines running over many years.

“Harry Potter” star Emma Watson has been spotted kissing Hollywood hunk Johnny Simmons.

Emma Watson, the British actress who plays Hermione Granger in the recently completed “Harry Potter” movie franchise, looks very much loved up with Johnny Simmons. He is her co-star in her upcoming movie “The Perks of Being a Wallflower.”

Watson is certainly no wallflower! The pair were snapped kissing passionately, out in public in Santa Monica over the weekend.

Wearing a patchwork maxi shirt and figure hugging black camisole under a casual summer cardigan, Watson got up close and personal with the actor. Then the two of them lunched together. Their tender kiss was shared right outside the restaurant.

Who started the kiss? Emma Watson did! Onlookers report that she reached up her face to kiss Johnny Simmons and he gazed at her in adoration, before pulling her in to a tender embrace, their hands on each others’ waists.

Emma Watson and Johnny Simmons were first identified as a couple in May, when they were seen walking through a park in Pittsburgh together. At the time they strongly denied that they were in a relationship together. Watson’s agent even dismissed speculation as “complete fiction.”

But either they were lying, or things have moved on a lot since May, because Emma and Johnny looked very much a couple in Santa Monica this weekend.

Simmons, who co-starred with Megan Fox in the 2009 flick “Jennifer’s Body,” is Watson’s first boyfriend since she split with “One Night Only” singer George Craig last year.

You will have to wait until next year to see Emma Watson and Johnny Simmons on screen together in “The Perks of Being a Wallflower.” The movie, based on the novel by Stephen Chbosky, about freshman Charlie’s introduction to sex and drugs, is scheduled for release in 2012.
