in this step you will be reaquainting yourself with the dreaded scale. but don't worry-you won't even THINK about looking at the thing for two weeks! NO sooner!! weigh yourself-and no matter how hard it may-or may not be-write it down! don't worry you're not starting a food diary-unless you choose to. but it's not required. you're writing it down so that you have a written starting point to your journey...

put the scale away and do not even think about touching it for TWO weeks! from here on out you WILL be eating three times a day AND snacking. this is important! you are retraining your body to burn the calories you take in!

make sure you are eating a hearty breakfast. this is the most important meal of the day! breakfast is when you tell your body to start burning the calories you take in...so if you don't eat breakfast no diet will work!

snack on something when you start to feel hungry-it's ok...go ahead-just don't eat sugary filled candies-or startchy potato chips-eat a handful of cheese cubes or dehydrated banana chips...

lunch-keep it light-just enough to get rid of that hunger-rememeber you'll be snacking,and you're not starving yourself.

don't let yourself get to the point where you will eat almost anything because you are so hungry! SNACK!

dinner-yet another very important meal. try to remember that you need to stave off hunger for the length f the night.make sure you're eating a healthy meal that won't leave you bogged down and dragging.
